Orlando is known for its many lakes, and College Park is no different. Some of the most beautiful homes in The City Beautiful lie along the banks of Lake Ivanhoe and Lake Adair. The great thing about the houses in College Park, is that they are very unique. Along Lake Ivanhoe you can find homes with Greek columns, colonial style structures, and homes that haven’t changed in 20 years! Anyone who has taken the walk around the lake has noticed the beach like backyard. I have to say the most exciting thing I’ve seen in College Park is watching 3 otters sunbathe in that backyard…only to frolic away and disappear into the lake!
Over on the Lake Adair side, you can usually find a ton of wildlife in the area! Mallards, cranes, turtles an more…just take a quick stroll around the lake and you are guaranteed to see them. Plenty of more beautiful ones with incredible wall climbing vines line the streets. The cobblestone roads add beautifully to create a nice living experience just off of Edgewater Drive. It’s tough to find many homes for sale along Lake Adair, so if you find one…give it a serious look. If you are willing to look a bit inland, you can usually find a nice home for rent in the 32804. The one’s on the lake are lucky, especially those with that killer view of downtown Orlando. Enjoy!
